Study Visit of German Students to the University of Applied Sciences in Criminal Investigation and Public Security
From 20 to 24 April 2026, students from the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Brühl, Germany, visited the University of Applied Sciences in Criminal Investigation and Public Security as part of a project week focused on Croatian higher police education and police operations.
The programme included lectures and professional visits covering the organisation of the Croatian police, study programmes, and teaching methods. Croatian students presented their academic and practical experiences in German, prompting an exchange of perspectives between the two groups. The German students also visited the Training Centre for Dog Handlers and Service Dogs, the Police Museum, and received a presentation on police training and physical preparation. Further visits to the Border Police Directorate (NCC) and the Lučko Anti-Terrorist Unit rounded out the programme.
The visit represents a continuation of successful cooperation between Croatian and German police education institutions, aimed at sharing knowledge and fostering a better understanding of different European policing systems.
