From 13 to 17 April 2026, the University of Applied Sciences in Criminal Investigation and Public Security hosted a guest lecturer from the Police Academy in Bratislava under the Erasmus+ programme. The expert in criminal investigation delivered lectures in English to students across various study levels, focusing on environmental crime investigation and the use of modern technologies in detecting and documenting criminal offences, with particular emphasis on the use of drones as an evidence-gathering tool.
The programme enriched students' knowledge of contemporary investigative methods, offered a comparative perspective with Croatian practice, and contributed to the professional development of teaching staff. It further supports the University's internationalisation efforts and lays the groundwork for future joint projects with partner institutions across the European Union.
