Research Visit at the Max Planck Institute
Hrvoje Filipović, PhD, Professor of Professional Studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Criminal Investigation and Public Security, carried out a research visit at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law in Freiburg, Germany, from 17 to 26 November 2025.
The visit focused on international cooperation in policing and included academic exchange, guest lectures, and research discussions. Contributions by Professors Kevin Toh and Thomas Bullmore covered comparative law and related topics. During the stay, the work centred on a literature review and the exchange of insights into ongoing research projects, thereby supporting further scientific and professional development.
